Our very first rehearsal took place on 2nd October 1970 - yes, that means we turn 55 this year! In its first year, Waveney Choir had around 30 members and now we have approximately 70 singers of all ages and experience.

We are extremely fortunate to be led by our brilliant conductor, Sarah-Jane Bullock, and accompanied by the exceptionally talented Shona Huckfield. There is surely nothing that Sarah-Jane can't conduct nor that Shona can't play - if it was written for a full orchestra, or for the digeridoo and bongo drums, she can do it justice!

Which means we sing everything! From traditional choral music, to songs from the shows and other contemporary favourites, we perform a wide variety of pieces at local venues in aid of charities and church funds.
